Aside from being obsessed with filmmaking, I am also obsessed with learning languages. I think that cinematography itself is also a language and it is the best way to communicate all the things in this world that we don’t have words to describe. Cinematography is a language that allows you to explore someone else’s soul and it is accomplished without saying a word. I see my role on a film as being an interpreter; I translate the written word into the language of imagery.
